Use dictation-ez1 on your laptop or PC with a dedicated desktop window:

  Click the Install app icon on the right side of the browser's address bar (or click the three dots menu ⋮ $\rightarrow$ Install dictation-ez1).

  Right-click the icon in your Windows Taskbar and choose "Pin to taskbar" (or Mac Dock $\rightarrow$ Keep in Dock) for instant access.

🔑 First-Time Configuration (Once per Device)

  Tap the ⚙️ (Settings) gear icon in the top right corner.

  Paste your Gemini API Key (provided by Arvind). It is encrypted directly into your device's private storage. Tap Done.

  Tap the red 🎙️ (Tap to Speak) button and tap Allow when prompted for microphone access.

🌐 Multilingual & Mixed Speech (English, Tamil, Hindi, Sanskrit)

Both the web app and desktop engine support seamless multilingual speech and conversational code-mixing:

  Native Mixed (Auto-Detect): Speak freely in English, Tamil, Hindi, Sanskrit, or mix them in the same breath. Automatically renders Tamil in தமிழ், Hindi/Sanskrit in देवनागरी, and English in English.

  Tamil (Standard): Renders spoken Tamil in standard Unicode Tamil script (தமிழ்).

  Tamil Extended (Numbered Tamil): Uses subscript numbers (க₁, க₂, க₃, க₄ / ச₁, ச₂, ச₃, ச₄ / த₁, த₂, த₃, த₄ / ப₁, ப₂, ப₃, ப₄) to distinguish aspirated and voiced consonants for accurate Vedic/Sanskrit chanting in Tamil.

🔄 How to Quickly Navigate Back & Paste

Because dictation-ez1 automatically copies your text, returning to your target app takes less than a second:

  On iPhone (The 1-Swipe Gesture): Swipe your thumb right across the thin white Home Bar at the bottom of the screen. You will instantly slide back into your previous app (WhatsApp, Notes, Mail, Slack). Then tap Paste!

  On iPhone (Top Breadcrumb): Tap the small arrow (`◀ [App Name]`) in the very top-left corner of the status bar.

  On Windows PC: Press Alt + Tab to jump right back into Word, Outlook, or Slack, and press Ctrl + V to paste.

  On Mac: Press Cmd + Tab $\rightarrow$ Cmd + V.
